The Studio has created a new line of frames, Layne Frames, that bridge the past with the present. Combining new, vintage and salvaged lumber, the wood is then milled into a variety of shapes and profiles. After applying, gold or silver leaf, the frames are finished using a combination of traditional and modern oxidation methods. The frames are timeless, for today, tomorrow and yesterday.

“Throughout my artistic career, I have sought ways to bring the present and the past together,” Neil Layne explains. “With inspiration from styles including ancient classical as well as modern, these frames combine the best of both.
